@steveusa100 I agree with you in a way, but I think people worldwide should unite and stake “claim” to the Gulf of Mexico in the name of Humanity. Remove BP and the US gov from the scene and get the job done.

BP’S inability to control oil flow and mantain oil well should be evidence enough.they where not and are not prepared to deal with this type of disaster.Every United citizen across the united States should be furious. Personaly, I would give BP 3 Days to stop the massive flow or we as citizens and the US government should seize control of BP’s assets, and all wells until the gulf region has been returned to its prior condition.REMEMBER NEXT TIME YOU VOTE!

@Allamericom Oil self dependent? BP is a world trading company originally from the UK and its Great Britans economy thats so tied with the company, not the US. They sell in the US sure, Ill say again, the a international company. No one here in the gulf wanted these ass holes drilling on our doorstep anyways.

@tauras88d Alot of these “bitches” didnt come down this year beacause of this. Alot of people didnt. And thes “bitches” wont want to be here, as alot of them already dont cuz our economy is already suffering so greatly its showing.

oh yes this is muuuuuch better than nuclear. thank you emotionally driven, uneducated, media attention addicted, politically motivated, utterly delusional “environmentalist” megatards for helping create this disaster. you are just as much to blame. if you spent half as much time reading as you do appearing on television, getting facial piercings, smoking pot and taking belly dancing classes you would know that your policies have been a catastrophe for the environment.

At my grooming shop, we are saving all hair and sending it to “Matter of trust” to help the clean up. If you or someone you know, gets their dog groomed, please send it to “Matterof trust org” and contact a groomer or hairdresser with the info. Help save our ocean. Please thumb up so all can read this message.

omg ….soooo sad all around ! if oil is sooooo valuble why arent the other oil companies fighting to suck up this mess ? all our lives are affected !!!

The only way to plug the oil would be to drill a onto the ground nail it to the bedrock. Then cap it once its finished. What BP basically did was skip that and just try to cover it.. Not gonna happen one that much pressure coming out. It’s gonna take couple month to actually cap this spill and control it.

    DenoRepublicans blame God
Obama doesn’t have one and has to blame Bush
America believes what they are TOLD by media
Conversationalist just watch the Obamanation of America
Wake Up to our new inside Government 911 ploy
You are NEVER going to be Oil self dependent no matter how much we have.

Personally, I don’t give a damn about tourism, economic losses and stuff like that. We all should be concerned about nature.

I was reading one quart of oil makes 250,000 gallons of sea water toxic to wild life. Are you starting to get the magnitude of this ????? they are predicating another 18,900,000 gallons of oil to leak out..if we can’t cap that hole that oil is going to destroy the oceans of the world.
Not to mention that the oceans are critical to maintaining the proper oxygen level in the atmosphere for human life.

  16. bluediamond2077

sad :( you’d think in this day of age we can move away from oil to power our cars and trucks. I thought growing up in 2010 the only thing using oil would be jets every thing else would be solar and wind powered . like a car or truck you plug into the grid . They should at the least ban drilling under the sea floor. there is just to much at risk. sea food, maybe even our lives . right now there is 210,000 gals of oil per day leaking into the gulf.

Oil on water surface can be frozen pretty quick. Round them up so thick enough inside huge upside down funnel then they can be frozen into solid and thrown into tankers. Polluting the ocean with untested chemical will create uncertain consequence and I suspect this is a blackmail behind mass media manipulating public panic. Shock doctrine again?

  18. planetsurfernet

This is a major disaster of epic proportions. People need to be more alarmed about the volume and speed of the oil thats spreading

Destin beaches are so white you would swear they put sugar on the ground.
When the oil is comming not if.
