BP’S inability to control oil flow and mantain oil well should be evidence enough.they where not and are not prepared to deal with this type of disaster.Every United citizen across the united States should be furious. @Allamericom Oil self dependent? BP is a world trading company originally from the UK and its Great Britans economy thats so tied with the company, not the US. The only way to plug the oil would be to drill a onto the ground nail it to the bedrock. Then cap it once its finished. What BP basically did was skip that and just try to cover it.. Not gonna happen one that much pressure coming out. It’s gonna take couple month to actually cap this spill and control it.

Personally, I don’t give a damn about tourism, economic losses and stuff like that. We all should be concerned about nature.
I was reading one quart of oil makes 250,000 gallons of sea water toxic to wild life. Are you starting to get the magnitude of this ????? they are predicating another 18,900,000 gallons of oil to leak out..if we can’t cap that hole that oil is going to destroy the oceans of the world.
Not to mention that the oceans are critical to maintaining the proper oxygen level in the atmosphere for human life.
sad :( you’d think in this day of age we can move away from oil to power our cars and trucks. I thought growing up in 2010 the only thing using oil would be jets every thing else would be solar and wind powered . like a car or truck you plug into the grid . They should at the least ban drilling under the sea floor. there is just to much at risk. sea food, maybe even our lives . right now there is 210,000 gals of oil per day leaking into the gulf.

Oil on water surface can be frozen pretty quick. Round them up so thick enough inside huge upside down funnel then they can be frozen into solid and thrown into tankers. Polluting the ocean with untested chemical will create uncertain consequence and I suspect this is a blackmail behind mass media manipulating public panic. Shock doctrine again?
