Thirty hurt in freak Cyprus tornado
28 January 2003
NICOSIA, Jan 27 (Reuters) - At least 30 people were injured when a freak tornado swept through the Cypriot coastal city of Limassol on Monday, uprooting trees, ripping off roofs and overturning cars, witnesses said.
The whirlwind swept in from the sea and hit facilities at Limassol's new port, tearing metal transport containers off trucks, damaging buildings and felling trees, a witness told Reuters. "It was huge," he said.
Hospital officials said they treated about 30 people slightly injured by shards of glass and other flying objects. "It was like the force of God upon us... I've never seen anything like it," one Limassol resident told Cypriot television as he stood beside an overturned car.
Cyprus usually has mild winters and apart from some ominous-looking clouds which gathered over the island on Monday morning, there was no warning of what was in store.
The bad weather delayed the arrival of a British naval task force that was scheduled to carry out military exercises in the general area before heading on to the Gulf.
State broadcasting reported that damage from the tornado was also reported further east in the district of Larnaca.
Cyprus routinely gets small, mild tornadoes, particularly on the southern coast of the island.
PROJECT STORM FURY
This is the official story from 2003 but it only tells half the story, Nicosia Bay was where military experiments were done to generate tornados and at one time as many as 7 small tornados were sent swishing across the bay.
Military alteration of weather patterns, and engaging in eco-type terrorism whereby they can alter the climate cause huge rainstorms and floods, set off earthquakes and volcanoes remotely through the use of electromagnetic waves... So there are plenty of ingenious minds out there that are at work finding ways in which they can wreak terror upon other nations...It's real, and that's the reason why we have to intensify our [counterterrorism] efforts." Secretary of Defense William Cohen at an April 1997 counterterrorism conference sponsored by former Georgia Senator Sam Nunn.
HAARP Chemtrails are part of the HAARP programme which has sinister objectives and is still used experimentally on its own people, that is the tax payers who fund it, the long droughts over 4 years in both the USA and Britian are a means to destroy crops and food harvests, the military saying that each man is only 3 meals away from rebellion may be true as a hungry man is unpredictable, weather wars are very real, and the bringing in of GM foods is part of this, GM is also destined to be the basis of food stamps.
The Lynmouth flood In Britian in 1952 killed 34 people, more than any other British flood, it was also very destructive and destroyed over 80 buildings in the town and was seen as a major R.A.F failure in the weather modification programme,
and did as much as the poison Chemtrailing and bombing civilian towns and hospitals in W.W.II
to lose the R.A.F. the support of the public.
