2012 Prophecy- Phobos: Mayan Fear Trailer!

sarajernigan asked:

This is a trailer for the new book Phobos by Steve Alten, my favorite author!! Please view & share as I'm entering a contest to become a character in Steve Alten's next novel!! :) The more views, the better chance I have!! :) If you have not yet read a Steve Alten book, I highly recommend that you do so! I suggest my favorites- this series (Domain) and the Meg series. :) Keep in mind while watching this, Phobos is BOOK 3, so if the trailer doesn't make much sense, look up Domain & Resurrection, the first 2 books in the series. A dazzling look at Mayan mythology incarnate from New York Times bestselling author Steve Alten For two thousand years, the Mayan Calendar has prophesied the end of mankind on a date equating to December 21st, 2012. As that day approaches, greed, corruption, economic collapse, and violence seem to be pushing our species to the predicted brink of disaster. But there is another Doomsday threat looming in our near future, a very real threat that can wipe-out not only humanity but our entire planet. Phobos: Mayan Fear, Steve Alten's third book in the Mayan Prophecy series, is a doomsday rollercoaster ride of adventure that follows Immanuel Gabriel to the end of the world and back again for one last shot at salvation. @Jimjammajay Nope. Lol. There’s Hadron Colliders creating Strangelets that will destroy the entire earth to worry about now. Lol. So much for just the end of mankind, it’d be the end of Earth!! Lol.Let’s hope the chances of one escaping (or a mini black hole) scenario is as unlikely as they think. Here I was worried about Yellowstone or SkyNet becoming self-aware :-D.

@StonewallBen I promoted the heck out of it on FB as well. I’m pretty sure several people “shared” the link from that too. I also put it on StumbleUpon. :) I’m not getting very many views now. I need to figure out other places to promote it.

@sarajernigan Yeah I was curious about how your views spiked so quickly, I guess that explains it. Well, you got lucky, I just hope I break 1000 before the deadline. If I can manage that then I’ll be proud of myself. Course getting ahead of you would be pretty nice too, but hey, you’ve got a steady lead going.

@StonewallBen Thanks. I’m new at this YouTube thing and got lucky because when I first put it up several websites posted the video on their sites. The views have since dropped off and I’m trying to figure out how to regain them. The contest will probably be over by then. Lol.
