Some Christians might suggest we have redeemed those practices. For example, Christmas has replaced Sun worship and pagan use of the evergreen became the Christmas tree. So, it is one of those situations where there could be some truth to it. But one has to ask what modern scholars are saying. Are a large number of academics flocking to the idea that Christianity developed "Purely" from sun worship? I think not. It is still credible that Christianity has Jewish origins. And until those postulating the Christian origin from Sun worship can deflect the years of historical and archaeological evidence of those Jewish origins, "Sun worship" is a conspiracy theory which supports pagan influence at best. They are slowly preparing people's minds for the coming of the dajaal (anti-christ). In the holy quran it is said that the dajaal will have one eye (Does that ring a bell to anyone). It is not too late to embrace islam don't believe what the media say about islam because they put people off since they know it's their true enemy to globalize the world. Allah sent all the scriptures including the bible and the torah but as time went people changd the words in the bible and made it inconsistent. Allah then sent down the holy quran and promised to protect it to make sure the same thing didn't happen to the quran. After 1400 years a single word hasn't changed from it unlike the bible. Christians you are the closest people to muslims and we embrace you as you follow the bible and it's not your fault that it is corrupted by evil people.
